Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Office Manager to join our team in Stockton, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a crucial role in managing administrative tasks, payroll processing, and office operations while ensuring compliance with California labor laws. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and experience in office management, payroll, or property management.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy in invoice entry and reconciliation using Yardi
  • Assist with rent invoicing, collections, and general ledger activities to support property management operations
  • Coordinate tenant communications, schedule maintenance services, and manage vendor relationships
  • Administer payroll, ensuring adherence to California labor and employment regulations
  • Facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding processes while maintaining accurate and confidential personnel records
  • Manage office operations, including organizing records, ordering supplies, and implementing efficient administrative workflows
  • Support lease administration tasks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Collaborate on internal projects to enhance office functionality and streamline processes

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • advanced education or degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll, office management, or property management
  • Strong understanding of California wage-and-hour laws and payroll systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with a high degree of attention to detail
