Job Description

Reporting to the Project Lead, the role involves providing technical administrative support to the Operations team. This includes coordinating permissions and connections with network owners, and ensuring all technical issues and documentation are resolved to facilitate project start. The position works closely with Project Managers and Site Supervisors to streamline operations.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate with Local Authorities to arrange opening notices
  • Organise traffic management plans
  • Build and handover site packs for utility works to Project Managers
  • Submit whereabouts, SDN, FM144, and energisation requests
  • Maintain the team calendar, including developer and material call-offs
  • Provide office management support, including assisting the Managing Director
  • Develop, monitor, and report on company key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Record and manage annual leave and sickness absence
  • Organise and coordinate staff training, maintaining CPD records
  • Complete pre-qualification questionnaires
  • Manage and purchase PPE
  • Assist with the MPAN/MPRN register and vehicle management
  • Foster and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

  • Proven experience in the multi-utility / Utility sector
  • Strong background in technical administrative support
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
