Job Description:

Become a valued member of the Albert Bartlett team, where we have been committed to producing and supplying high-quality potato products in the UK since 1948. Cleanliness and hygiene are vital to our operations, and we are currently seeking a diligent Office & Factory Cleaner for our nightshift from Monday to Friday, 10 PM to 6 AM. Your role will be essential in maintaining a clean and organized environment in both our office and factory spaces, ensuring that we uphold the high standards our customers expect. In this position, you will be responsible for performing various cleaning tasks that contribute to a safe and productive working environment. Your dedication to cleanliness and attention to detail will play a key role in supporting our operations and enhancing employee satisfaction.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct thorough cleaning of both office and factory areas, including dusting, mopping, sweeping, and sanitizing surfaces
  • Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are handled and used safely and efficiently
  • Identify and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning duties
  • Follow established cleaning schedules and quality control procedures to maintain cleanliness standards
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure all areas are kept tidy and organized
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations to provide a safe environment for all employees

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in cleaning roles, particularly in industrial or office environments, is advantageous
  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene
  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently during night shifts
  • Effective communication skills for reporting issues and working with staff
  • Physical ability to carry out cleaning tasks, including lifting and moving items when necessary
  • Awareness of health and safety practices related to cleaning and maintaining hygienic conditions
