We are looking for an experienced and proactive Office Director to join a midsize law firm in New York, New York. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills and a collaborative mindset to oversee the firm’s administrative operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in detail-oriented services or legal environments to contribute to the success of a dynamic team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee the daily administrative operations of the office, ensuring smooth coordination among attorneys, paralegals, and support staff
  • Develop and implement operational procedures that promote efficiency, accuracy, and responsiveness
  • Manage office logistics, supplies, vendor relationships, and facilities needs
  • Supervise administrative and paralegal staff, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, and professional development for staff positions
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, firm policies, and ethical standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience, preferably in a boutique law firm or an environment that values attention to detail
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities
  • Proven ability to develop and implement operational procedures
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of employment laws and compliance standards
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and facilities needs
  • Proficiency in driving strategic initiatives and process improvements
