We are looking for a detail-oriented Office Clerk to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will support daily office operations by managing administrative tasks and ensuring the workspace remains organized and efficient. Job Responsibility:
Organize and distribute incoming mail to the appropriate recipients
Perform document scanning and copying tasks to maintain accurate records
Sort and manage bills and other financial documents effectively
File paperwork and documents systematically in office cabinets
Ensure the office remains tidy by running the dishwasher and maintaining cleanliness
Provide general administrative support to attorneys and staff as needed
Answer multi-line phone systems and direct calls appropriately
Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience in an office or administrative role
Proficiency in handling document scanning and related tasks
Experience managing mailroom operations and distributing incoming mail
Strong organizational skills for filing and sorting documents
Ability to operate and maintain multi-line phone systems
Attention to detail and ability to work independently
Familiarity with basic office equipment like copiers and scanners
