Job Description:

Our client in Pointe Claire is currently looking for a temporary office clerk to join their team for a 6 month contract as they have several documents and files to overlook and scan. This person will be handling sensitive documents: Filling, storing and handling hard copies according to confidentiality standards.

Job Responsibility:

Scanning documents into digital formats
Handling sensitive documents: Filling, storing and handling hard copies according to confidentiality standards
Managing documents: saving, storing, copying and managing documents in electronic files
Sorting and separating pages of documents
Adhering to instructions: Following scanning instructions to ensure efficient and accurate processing
Must be able to use a laptop to perform job duties
Must be able to lift and move documents up to 20 pounds in the office
Frequently communicates with other staff who have inquiries about the scanning project

Requirements:

Knowledge of both spoken and written French and English
Experience in an office setting
Office equipment technical skills
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suites
Strong reading communication skills
Time management skills
Ability to follow guidelines
Autonomous
