Our client, a leading independent law firm in Quebec with a vast international network, is seeking an office and mail clerk. The ideal candidate enjoys managing multiple files simultaneously and has a strong sense of priorities. Job Responsibility:
Scan, stamp, and distribute mail for all office members
Manage supplies (place orders and restock supplies) for paper, coffee makers, tissues, etc.
Photocopy, scan, bind, fax, and forward various documents to support professionals and legal assistants
Provide temporary reception coverage during breaks or occasional absences
As needed, gather information for courier shipments, communicate with various service providers, prepare shipments, etc.
Support the team in managing various material needs upon the arrival or departure of new staff
Perform any other related administrative tasks
Requirements:
High school diploma
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience related to the position, ideally in a professional services firm
Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Meticulous and detail-oriented
Strong commitment to customer service
Ability to work under pressure
Versatility and flexibility
Self-motivated and resourceful
Fluency in English (oral and written)
