We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team in Newcastle, Maine. This is a Contract to permanent position offering a fully onsite work environment with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting office operations, customer service, and data management.
Job Responsibility:
Input data accurately and efficiently into systems to support product and inventory management
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Handle administrative tasks such as answering inbound calls and managing receptionist duties
Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel, to create and manage documents
Coordinate with team members to prioritize tasks and ensure deadlines are met
Maintain organized records and files to support office efficiency
Assist in managing schedules and appointments as needed
Adapt to shifting priorities and support teammates in achieving department goals
Requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel
Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent customer service abilities with effective communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
Previous experience in administrative support or receptionist duties
