We are looking for a detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Sterling, Virginia. The position offers flexibility in scheduling, with approximately 25 hours per week.
Job Responsibility:
Support the warehouse manager in coordinating daily activities and operations
Organize and prepare equipment for delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Maintain accurate records and catalog inventory using established systems
Handle administrative tasks such as filing and documentation management
Receive and inspect incoming equipment, verifying quality and completeness
Enter detailed information into spreadsheets and update data as needed
Ensure proper scanning and documentation of records
Perform general clerical duties to support the team and enhance productivity
Requirements:
At least 2 years of relevant experience in office or warehouse settings
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet management
Familiarity with scanning and filing processes
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to perform clerical tasks efficiently and accurately
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members
