We are looking for a dedicated Office Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Bethel, Connecticut. This position plays a vital role in supporting daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and organization. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and skilled at handling receptionist and clerical responsibilities.
Job Responsibility:
Greet visitors and clients warmly while managing front desk operations
Answer and direct incoming phone calls to appropriate departments or personnel
Maintain office supplies by monitoring inventory and placing orders as needed
Organize and file documents to ensure easy access and retrieval
Handle correspondence, including sorting and distributing incoming mail
Assist in scheduling meetings and maintaining calendars for staff
Prepare reports and presentations as required by management
Ensure the office environment remains tidy and well-organized at all times
Requirements:
Proven experience in receptionist or clerical roles
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Detail-oriented approach and ability to interact positively with clients and colleagues
High school diploma or equivalent required
