This is a 5-month, onsite Office Assistant - Residential Services opportunity supporting a large academic institution's housing and residential services office. The role runs March 1, 2026 through August 15, 2026, is based onsite in Cambridge, and is 35 hours per week, offering $24.75/hour. The position supports graduate and undergraduate housing operations, with a strong focus on customer service, documentation, and high-volume communications during peak housing cycles.
Job Responsibility:
Manage graduate housing cancellations, renewals, sublicensing, and self-selection processes
Track daily housing data and maintain accurate records for leadership reporting
Respond to resident inquiries and provide guidance during self-selection and peak periods
Support phone bank operations to ensure timely response to resident questions
Assist with housing communications via email, phone, and online ticketing systems
Approve and process sublicensing requests and proof of residence documentation
Create and maintain process documentation, policies, and correspondence
Provide general administrative support to graduate and undergraduate housing teams
