We are looking for a reliable Office Assistant to support daily administrative and operational tasks for a long-term contract assignment based in Menlo Park, California. This part-time opportunity will run through June and July, and we are seeking someone who can remain committed for the full project duration. The ideal candidate is organized, quick to respond to changing priorities, and comfortable helping with both office coordination and light physical tasks.
Job Responsibility
Maintain orderly office records by sorting, filing, and organizing documents and materials
Prepare backpacks and other items for shipment, ensuring packing is accurate and completed on schedule
Support basic inventory activities by tracking supplies and keeping storage areas organized
Move boxes and office materials as needed to help keep the workspace functional and ready for use
Assist with preparing the office for reentry by arranging materials and helping set up shared spaces
Provide general back-office support to keep day-to-day administrative tasks running smoothly
Requirements
At least 1 year of experience in office support, administrative assistance, or a similar role
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to stay organized while managing multiple routine tasks in a fast-paced environment
Dependable attendance and a strong commitment to completing the full contract period
Comfortable handling light physical duties, including packing shipments and moving boxes
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
