We are looking for a dependable Office Assistant to support daily administrative activities for a busy team in Savage, Maryland. Job Responsibility:
Coordinate routine administrative support for the office, ensuring records, materials, and day-to-day tasks are handled efficiently
Organize paper and digital files so documents remain accurate, accessible, and up to date
Scan, upload, and index business documents with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Prepare outgoing correspondence and support mailing activities, including assembling and packaging materials
Assist with general clerical work such as answering inbound calls, managing basic receptionist-related needs, and routing information appropriately
Provide direct administrative assistance to the Finance Department and Controller on operational and documentation tasks
Help maintain smooth daily office workflow by responding to shifting priorities and completing additional support duties as needed
Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience in an administrative, clerical, or office support role
Ability to manage filing, document scanning, and record maintenance with consistent accuracy
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a part-time office environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including confidence in handling inbound calls
Dependable work habits and close attention to detail in routine administrative assignments
Comfort supporting receptionist and mail-related activities as part of daily office operations
