We are looking for a dependable Office Assistant to support daily operations at a secure testing site. This is a Long-term Contract opportunity for someone who enjoys structured administrative work, direct interaction with visitors, and maintaining a well-organized environment. The role is well suited to a detail-oriented individual who can adapt to changing schedules while helping create a smooth and consistent experience for test takers.
Job Responsibility:
Welcome candidates upon arrival, confirm identity documentation, and guide them through the check-in process with courtesy and accuracy
Oversee the testing environment by following established procedures, conducting security screening steps, and helping protect exam integrity at all times
Observe examinees throughout their sessions and respond promptly to questions, concerns, or irregular situations in accordance with site guidelines
Keep testing rooms, materials, and administrative records organized, secure, and ready for daily operations
Document incidents, exceptions, and candidate interactions clearly to support compliance and operational reporting
Provide front-desk and clerical assistance such as answering inbound calls, scanning documents, and completing general office support tasks
Assist with basic handling of office and testing equipment, including packing, unpacking, or moving items when needed while following safety practices
Support a flexible operating schedule that may include Saturdays, occasional evenings, and other shifts based on business needs
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent is required
additional college coursework is helpful
At least one year of in-person customer service experience is required in environments such as retail, hospitality, food service, or front desk support
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with visitors and coworkers
Comfortable using Windows-based computer systems and common office applications such as Microsoft Office, Outlook, and web browsers
Able to manage multiple tasks in a structured, fast-paced setting while maintaining close attention to detail
Capable of standing or sitting for extended periods, walking through the testing area regularly, and escorting candidates as needed
Able to bend, stoop, and lift up to 40 pounds when handling office or testing materials
Must be available for a variable schedule, including Saturday hours and occasional evening shifts.
