We are looking for a dedicated Office Assistant to join our team in Miami, Florida. This is a long-term contract opportunity with part-time hours, working three days a week for 8 hours each day. The initial contract will span three months, with the potential for extension up to six months based on performance and business needs.
Job Responsibility:
Assist the accounting department with daily tasks, ensuring accuracy and organization
Perform filing duties to maintain well-organized documentation systems
Match tickets and ensure proper coding of documents
Stamp and process incoming documentation efficiently
Collect necessary paperwork from neighboring offices as required
Scan invoices and other documents to maintain digital records
Handle receptionist duties, including answering inbound calls professionally
Provide clerical support to ensure smooth office operations
Requirements:
Previous experience in office administration or as an office assistant
Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with office software
Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills for handling calls and interacting with staff
Experience with scanning and maintaining digital records
Comfortable performing routine clerical duties in a fast-paced environment
