We are looking for a detail-oriented Office Assistant to support our Accounts Payable department in Houston, Texas. This contract to hire position offers an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for accuracy. You will play a vital role in ensuring efficient data management and document processing within the team.
Job Responsibility:
Perform accurate and efficient data entry to maintain up-to-date records
Organize and manage both electronic and physical filing systems
Scan and process documents to streamline workflows
Collaborate with the Accounts Payable team to support accounting tasks
Ensure the proper handling and storage of sensitive information
Maintain a well-structured and organized workspace
Assist in general office tasks to support team operations
Requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to manage electronic and physical files effectively
Previous experience in office administration or data entry is preferred
Familiarity with accounting processes is a plus
