Job Responsibility:
Organize and manage paper and electronic files to keep records accurate and easy to retrieve
Enter and maintain tax-related data in internal systems with a high level of accuracy
Handle Business Privilege Tax filings in a timely manner while following department procedures
Assist the Business Privilege Tax team with day-to-day clerical and operational tasks
Review figures and calculations to ensure compliance with applicable tax rules
Address questions regarding tax accounts and required documentation by phone, email, or in person
Requirements:
Proficiency in clerical duties, including data entry and recordkeeping
Previous administrative experience in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with payment processing systems and procedures
Basic knowledge of accounting principles or light accounting tasks
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
