We are looking for a detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Brooklyn, New York. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. Job Responsibility:
Welcome visitors and handle receptionist duties, including managing inquiries and directing calls
Organize and scan documents to ensure accurate digital recordkeeping
Answer incoming phone calls, provide information, and route calls to the appropriate staff
Perform general clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies
Support the team with administrative activities to facilitate efficient workflow
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote productivity
Assist in preparing reports, correspondence, and documentation as needed
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure deadlines and project goals are met
Uphold confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Requirements:
Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role is preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in using office equipment such as scanners and phones
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Competency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office
Familiarity with maintaining digital and physical files
