We are looking for a detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in New Iberia, Louisiana. Job Responsibility:
Scan and organize documents to maintain accurate and accessible records
File paperwork and maintain a structured filing system for easy retrieval
Manage and respond to emails using Outlook, ensuring clear and effective communication
Perform receptionist duties, including greeting visitors and directing calls to appropriate personnel
Answer incoming phone calls and address inquiries or route them as needed
Assist with general clerical tasks to support office operations
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote productivity
Provide administrative support to team members as required
Requirements:
Proven experience in receptionist or clerical roles
Proficiency in scanning documents and filing systems
Ability to handle email correspondence professionally using Outlook
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Familiarity with answering and routing phone calls
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
