We are looking for a detail-oriented part time Office Assistant to join our team in Westbrook, Connecticut. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate records, managing files, and supporting administrative tasks. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in data entry, file organization, and general office operations.
Job Responsibility:
Provide office support to our Administrative Assistant, Mary
Pull records and files from the organization’s electronic records (ER) system
Download, reformat, and manage documents (PDF, Word, etc.)
Perform accurate data entry into a state data system
Assist with general file management and administrative projects as needed
Requirements:
Previous administrative experience required
Understanding of HIPAA and FERPA compliance standards
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an office or administrative role
Proficiency in scanning, organizing, and managing files
Strong skills in data entry, including numeric and textual input
Familiarity with Microsoft Word and PDF creation tools
Ability to navigate computer systems and electronic record platforms effectively
Keen attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy
Experience providing back-office support and handling clerical tasks
Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines and maintaining organizational standards
