We are looking for a dedicated part time Office Assistant to join our team in Portland, Maine. In this role, you will be responsible for managing mail operations, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining accurate documentation of correspondence. Job Responsibility:
Handle incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely delivery and accurate processing
Provide friendly and attentive customer service to internal and external parties
Maintain detailed records of correspondence and mail operations
Collaborate with property managers to address office-related needs and logistics
Ensure office supplies are well-stocked and organized
Coordinate with delivery services, including FedEx, to manage drop-offs and pickups
Support general clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry
Uphold a neat and organized workspace that aligns with business casual dress standards
Monitor office operations to ensure smooth day-to-day functionality
Requirements:
Previous experience in receptionist or clerical roles is preferred
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Proficiency with Google Apps specifically Google Meet
Ability to manage mail processing and delivery tasks efficiently
Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility
Comfortable working independently as the sole office employee
