Our team is seeking a reliable Office Assistant for a temporary assignment beginning this month through the end of May in Mahopac, NY. This role supports daily administrative activities with a focus on client service and efficient office operations.
Job Responsibility:
Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner
Welcome clients and visitors to the office, ensuring a positive experience
Mail out completed tax returns and manage related documentation
Track tax return progress and status using a CRM system
Assist with processing payments in QuickBooks
Manage the office administrative email account
Perform general office duties such as filing, copying, and document organization
Requirements:
Prior office or administrative support experience preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
Attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately
Comfortable learning new systems (CRM, QuickBooks)
Professional, positive attitude and commitment to confidentiality
