We are looking for a detail-oriented Office Assistant to provide contract administrative support during tax season. This contract position is based in Chantilly, Virginia, and offers an opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced office environment while utilizing organizational and communication skills.
Job Responsibility:
Greet visitors and handle receptionist duties, ensuring an attentive and welcoming atmosphere
Organize and scan documents efficiently to maintain accurate records
Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate team members
Perform general clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies
Use Office Suite to complete administrative tasks, including document creation and spreadsheet management
Assist with organizing and coordinating office activities and schedules
Ensure the office remains presentable and orderly at all times
Provide support for various administrative projects as needed during the busy tax season
Manage correspondence and distribute mail to the appropriate recipients
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in an office or administrative role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment
Detail-oriented approach with a focus on maintaining a presentable and organized workspace
Experience with receptionist duties, including handling calls and greeting visitors
Attention to detail and accuracy in document scanning and record-keeping
Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively with team members
