We are looking for a detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our client's team in Shelton, Connecticut. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in supporting administrative operations, ensuring smooth processes, and delivering excellent customer service. Job Responsibility:
Manage incoming calls on a multi-line phone system, providing prompt and attentive responses
Perform data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency
Provide exceptional customer service to address inquiries and resolve concerns
Utilize Microsoft Office Suite to create and maintain documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
Support clerical tasks, including filing, organizing records, and maintaining office supplies
Assist with administrative duties within the admissions department
Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless office operations
Handle basic office tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing correspondence
Demonstrate proficiency in accounting software and related systems
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in daily operations
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or office support role
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries professionally
Experience managing multi-line phone systems
Demonstrated ability to perform accurate data entry
Familiarity with accounting software systems is preferred
