We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team in Monmouth Junction, New Jersey. This is a contract position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting daily office operations. The role requires excellent organizational skills and a proactive approach to administrative tasks.
Job Responsibility:
Perform general clerical tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and organizing documents
Scan and digitize physical documents to maintain accurate records
Enter data into computer systems with a high level of accuracy and efficiency
Support office operations by responding to emails, phone calls, and other communications
Maintain and update internal databases to ensure information is current and accessible
Assist in preparing reports and presentations as needed
Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and task completion
Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary
Handle ad hoc administrative duties to support the team
Requirements:
Previous experience in administrative or office assistant roles
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to scan, digitize, and maintain accurate records
Competence in data entry and working with computer systems
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment
