We are looking for a detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team on a Contract basis in Eugene, Oregon. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of daily office activities while providing excellent customer service to visitors and callers. Job Responsibility:
Welcome and assist visitors with professionalism and a friendly demeanor
Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and effectively
Process checks by scanning them to the bank, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Handle incoming and outgoing mail, sorting and distributing as required
Maintain conference room calendars and schedule bookings efficiently
Order and replenish office supplies to meet workplace needs
Prepare and manage FedEx shipments for timely delivery
Utilize Microsoft Office tools to complete tasks and support administrative functions
Requirements:
Proven experience providing strong customer service in an office setting
Familiarity with handling clerical tasks, such as sorting mail and managing calendars
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to handle inbound calls professionally and direct inquiries appropriately
Competence in scanning and processing documents with attention to detail
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
High level of reliability
