Job Description:

In this dynamic role, you will act as the vital link between production teams and external clients, managing inquiries, order data, and logistics to ensure a seamless customer experience. This position offers a stable full-time schedule, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work within the exciting interior design industry.

Job Responsibility:

  • Handle incoming inquiries professionally via phone and email, serving as the first point of contact for clients and partners
  • Execute precise data entry by managing order data and updating customer information within the sales management system
  • Collaborate closely with the production team to monitor inventory, manage expectations, and adjust lead times
  • Coordinate complex logistics, including arranging product shipments and scheduling pickups with various courier companies
  • Generate and issue essential financial and operational documents, including invoices, packing slips, and order acknowledgments
  • Manage the sample distribution process by arranging and dispatching product samples to current and prospective clients
  • Provide comprehensive general administrative support to the management and operational teams
  • Monitor and organize office supplies and filing systems

Requirements:

  • A diploma or degree from a post-secondary institution, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service role, administrative support, or a related business administration field
  • Complete fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory
  • A valid Canadian driver's license is required
  • Physical ability to occasionally lift sample boxes weighing approximately 28 lbs
  • Demonstrated interest or previous experience in the woodworking, manufacturing, or interior design industry is highly preferred
  • Reliable transportation to the workplace for an in-person role
