Our Office and Budget Supervisor position in the Worker's Compensation Division offers a diverse array of responsibilities related to fiscal management, workforce planning, projects and initiatives to ultimately help injured workers in Wisconsin.
Job Responsibility:
Directs division-wide management responsibilities for budget and financial needs, including budget (operating and biennial), fiscal/procurement/purchasing, contract management, facility management, and workforce planning
Serves as a member of the Worker's Compensation management team and participates in strategic planning, setting overall policies, and assisting in decision-making processes that affect program operations and administration, as well as Division and Department goals
Requirements:
Analyzing and presenting financial data and reports to inform business decisions
Working with a variety of funds or fund components related to budgets, grants or projects
Preparing, interpreting, and applying a variety of complex materials (e.g. issue papers, contracts or agreements, policies, technical guidance, or similar)
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders with varying backgrounds and objectives
Nice to have:
Leadership experience overseeing teams, workgroups, projects, etc. (i.e. assigning work, enforcing timelines, monitoring for compliance/performance, etc.)
Performing complex fiscal duties such as determining the correct accounting codes, creating purchase orders, reconciliation of finances, project budgeting, or similar
Coordinating human resources activities such as requests to fill, interviews, onboarding steps, training, or similar
