This is a highly visible leadership role supporting a collaborative office of approximately 100 professionals within a firm of 600+ attorneys nationwide. This firm is known for its full-service platform, strong federal practice, and collegial culture, offering the opportunity to work closely with attorneys and firm leadership while managing the day-to-day operations of a dynamic office. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring someone who enjoys being visible in the office, interacting with attorneys and staff, and rolling up their sleeves to support operations as needed.
Job Responsibility:
Manage workflows, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and compensation discussions
Work closely with attorneys and leadership to ensure operational efficiency and a positive office culture
Coordinate office initiatives, events, and operational projects
Maintain strong communication across departments including HR, operations, and firm leadership
Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in office administration, HR, or practice management
Proven ability to manage teams and direct reports effectively
Strong interpersonal skills, with enthusiasm and confidence in building relationships
Experience with event planning, marketing, and HR operations
Ability to handle dynamic office environments and adapt to changing needs
Familiarity with legal files and calendar management systems
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Willingness to travel occasionally to support additional office locations
