Job Description:

Join Our Team as an Office Administrator! Are you an organised and proactive individual with a knack for multitasking? Our client, a dynamic retail organisation based in Camden, London, is on the lookout for a talented Office Administrator to support our team on a part-time basis (3 days per week). This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment!

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage and maintain office supplies and equipment
  • Answer direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries
  • Organise and schedule appointments, set up meetings, and coordinate group travel arrangements
  • Prepare and coordinate office correspondence, including emails, letters, and reports
  • Maintain office filing systems (both electronic and paper-based)
  • Support with general administrative tasks as required
  • Keep the office environment clean, organised, and well-maintained
  • Assist in HR-related tasks, such as onboarding new employees and updating personnel records
  • Help plan and coordinate office events, meetings, and team-building activities
  • Perform other ad-hoc administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in office administration or a similar role preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in your work
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude to tackle challenges
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care
  • Good time-management skills to keep everything on track

Nice to have:

  • A-levels or equivalent qualification is desirable
  • Additional certifications in office administration or business support are a plus
