Be the operational backbone of a respected regional CPA firm. Lead administrative operations at the Cherry Hill headquarters and provide support to the Southern New Jersey team. Ensure the day-to-day flow of the office, supervise a team, and contribute to a seamless experience for staff and clients—especially during tax season.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee and coordinate day-to-day office operations and administrative procedures
Supervise and schedule a team of administrative assistants
Ensure the office environment is fully functional—manage supplies, vendor relationships, equipment
Maintain and implement office policies
Coordinate firm calendars, meeting logistics, and room scheduling
Process daily client payments and deposits, reconcile accounts
Partner with accounting staff to assist with client onboarding, billing, and workflow tracking
Handle internal HR administrative functions such as onboarding paperwork and benefits coordination
Support firm-wide communications and internal event coordination
Requirements:
Proven experience in office management or administrative leadership
Previous experience in a CPA firm, financial services, or other professional services setting (preferred)
Strong leadership and delegation skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Discretion and integrity when handling confidential information
Flexibility and a positive attitude
Nice to have:
Familiarity with accounting software or workflow systems
