Cyber Engineer We are seeking talented and motivated students pursuing a Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree. As a Cyber Engineer intern you will work on a variety of technologies, and gain hands-on experience in different skills including reverse engineering, vulnerability analysis, software development, mission automation, and DevSecOps. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with an engineering team to solve complex challenges using state-of-the-art innovations and technologies.
Job Responsibility:
Work on cutting-edge technologies in software development, reverse engineering, and vulnerability analysis
Contribute to software development projects using languages like C, C++, and Python
Develop and enhance mission-critical software solutions with a focus on security and automation
Participate in DevSecOps practices, including security integration in development workflows
Assist in identifying and analyzing security vulnerabilities in software and systems
Collaborate with experienced engineers on real-world projects that impact national security
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to improve system performance and security
Research and experiment with new tools, techniques, and technologies to enhance cybersecurity solutions
Requirements:
Enrolled in a relevant degree program (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber Engineering), with a graduation date of 2027, 2028, or 2029
Strong programming skills in at least one language
Familiarity with reverse engineering tools and methodologies and/or software development
US Citizenship required
40 hours/week on-site at Cryptic Vector
