As an intern you’ll be working closely with your team members supporting them in their daily tasks covering various types of clients including Corporates, Supra and Agencies, Private Equity and products including FX and Rates derivatives, commodities and structured products. You’ll be gradually prepared to take on more responsibility and develop a fine understanding of client needs. You’ll be instrumental in reshaping the desk infrastructure to streamline processes and free up time to focus on client requests and trade ideas. This role is based in the Paris office of RBC, within the Private Side of the dealing room.

Job Responsibility:

  • Analysing client and market data
  • Support the Sales team with day to day tasks
  • Reviewing and suggesting improvements to internal processes
  • Conducting research to formulate trade ideas, in coordination with Trading and Research teams
  • Presenting your market views and investment solutions
  • Supporting the area that keeps the firm functioning at industry-leading levels

Requirements:

  • Graduating and completing university course within 2 years
  • Fluent French speaker / Fluent English speaker
  • Available to start the internship in July 2026 and to be available for 6 months
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Awareness of global economic issues and a genuine interest in the international financial markets
  • Creativity, logic, interpersonal skills and inner drive
  • Strong Computer skills: MS office, VBA
