Job Description

We are looking for an experienced OEM Engineer to support a pharma project based in Boxmeer, Netherlands, focusing on PLC/SCADA systems within a regulated manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Define and document User Requirements for OEM PLC/SCADA systems
  • Review and approve design and technical documentation related to automation systems
  • Partner with local site project teams to scope and implement changes on OEM PLC/SCADA systems
  • Engineer, commission, and qualify Siemens WinCC SCADA and TIA Portal solutions
  • Follow SDLC procedures to implement system changes, including requirements updates, RTM, change control, implementation, and testing
  • Ensure solutions are implemented safely, securely, and with high quality
  • Use and maintain development systems as required
  • Educate and support local project teams on automation standards, including technology selection, system configuration, SDLC, validation, hardware, software environments, and business processes
  • Collaborate with internal Digital and IT departments to ensure compliant and secure implementations aligned with MSD standards

Requirements

  • Experience in PLC application engineering
  • Strong hands-on experience with Siemens WinCC SCADA and TIA Portal
  • Proven experience in engineering design, commissioning, and qualification of PLC/SCADA systems
  • Solid background in business analysis for small to mid-sized projects
  • Experience working with SDLC, change management, and validation processes
  • Knowledge of GxP-regulated pharmaceutical environments is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with site teams and stakeholders
