This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of the wider county council People Service Organisational Development team, providing critical support to our Fire & Rescue Service. The role will support us in delivering the People Plan and Workforce Development Plans for the County and in particular for our Fire and Rescue Service.
Job Responsibility:
Work as part of the wider county council People Service Organisational Development team, providing critical support to our Fire & Rescue Service
Support in delivering the People Plan and Workforce Development Plans for the County and in particular for our Fire and Rescue Service
Work alongside the Culture and Inclusion Manager on the delivery of EDI OD related initiatives
Deliver leadership development including a CPD programme of events
Implement and evaluate OD/L&D solutions
Support service managers in transformational cultural change
Identify and develop talent to enable better outcomes for our people and the delivery of a high performing professional service
Occasional evening and weekend working on a planned basis
Requirements:
Experienced organisational development & learning professional with leadership and management development experience
Good track record of delivery in OD and change
Natural ability to influence, coach, and drive organisational development initiatives
Internal consultancy experience
Significant experience of delivering learning solutions
Coaching and mentoring skills
Project management skills
Experience in the implementation of SAP LMS would be advantageous, but not essential
Experience in working in a Fire and Rescue Services or with other blue light services would be advantageous
Right to work that enables commitment to at least 6 months employment
Nice to have:
Experience in working in a Fire and Rescue Services or with other blue light services
Experience in the implementation of SAP LMS
