Seeking a Construction Safety Manager with OCONUS experience to work on Federal overseas projects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Plan, implement, and supervise project safety in compliance with corporate safety programs and contract requirements
  • Conduct daily safety inspections and document findings for all active work areas
  • Collaborate with field staff and management to develop safe work plans for each project phase
  • Serve as the safety liaison with clients, subcontractors, and external entities, addressing safety-related issues and concerns
  • Prepare and submit all safety-related reports, and conduct post-accident investigations to ensure continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED with five years of experience in safety management
  • Solid understanding of corporate safety programs, OSHA regulations, or Corps of Engineers EM385-1-1 standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Current Department of Defense secret security clearance is required, along with OSHA 30-hour and EM385
  • Ability to endure challenging working conditions, including heights and confined spaces, while ensuring personal and team safety
