Seeking a BIM Manager with OCONUS experience to work on Federal overseas projects. This role requires a minimum of a 2 year overseas commitment. Construction setting with full-time hours; 100% travel is required. Physical ability to crawl, climb, walk, and lift over 50lbs, as well as work in confined spaces and at heights. Willingness to adapt to varying weather conditions including hot, cold, humid, and wet environments.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and maintain BIM Models that meet client requirements and internal standards
Support project teams by utilizing appropriate software for model revisions and collaboration
Facilitate Clash Coordination and manage Navisworks models for effective layout coordination among subcontractors
Ensure compliance of BIM models with project specifications and contract requirements
Drive ongoing training initiatives for BIM tools, promoting BIM knowledge throughout the organization
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Structural or MEP Engineering, or Construction Management
Minimum of five years of related experience in BIM management
Proficiency in clash detection, model review, and 3D coordination software (e.g., Autodesk Navisworks)
Strong skills in BIM and CAD software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD) and familiarity with CPM scheduling software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong organizational and time management abilities
U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance is required
