Job Description:

OCM / Car Park Operative role at Avara Foods' Wednesbury site, an advanced manufacturing and Added Value centre supplying chicken and turkey to UK supermarkets and restaurants.

Job Responsibility:

Work part of shift in OCM area and part as a car park Marshall

Requirements:

  • Place packs of finished goods into trays and stack them onto pallets
  • Wrap pallets securely for storage or transport
  • Move completed pallets from the end of the production line to the finished goods area
  • Direct vehicles to appropriate parking spaces
  • Ensure only authorised Avara employees park in designated car parks
  • Lock and secure the gate when leaving to attend the main building
  • Sign security devices in and out as required
  • Monitor the main car park for vehicles without passes and redirect them to the correct area
  • Operate across three designated car park points during the shift
  • Must not own any Avian Pets or Poultry
