We're Hiring an Customer Service Representative for the Ocean Department! Industry: Maritime Shipping Line. Want to be part of the global supply chain that keeps the world moving? We are looking for motivated individuals with experience in the logistics sector with expectational customer service skills.

Job Responsibility:

  • Inbound calls
  • Processing customer requests and data via email or calls
  • Respond and take care of customer problems and inquiries
  • Act as liaison between customer and sales
  • Update bookings when necessary and notify all affected parties of changes
  • Coordinate with terminal operations to assure efficient and effective handling of shipments
  • Assist clients and transfer to the right department accordingly

Requirements:

  • Based in or around Montreal
  • Experience with over the road shipments is required, preferably from a Freight Forwarder, 3PL, Trucking or Shipping line experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task time sensitive issues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Well organized, ability to handle stress & meet tight deadlines
