For a global specialist in air, sea, and road logistics, we are seeking a dedicated Ocean Freight Forwarding Agent. Do you want to play a vital role in the international supply chain, ensuring that goods ranging from daily essentials to specialized medical equipment reach their global destinations safely? Job Responsibility:

  • Take full ownership of the administrative and operational flow of sea freight export shipments
  • Meticulous preparation of all essential shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, and Insurance certificates
  • Perform thorough document checks to ensure 100% administrative accuracy
  • Act as a key liaison between shipping agencies, carriers, customers, and the global logistics network
  • Deliver premium customer service through proactive dossier follow-up and clear communication
  • Maintain high standards of precision while working effectively under time-sensitive deadlines

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience specifically within ocean freight forwarding
  • In-depth knowledge of export documentation and Letter of Credit (L/C) procedures
  • Solid understanding of current Incoterms
  • Proficient in standard office software, including MS Excel and MS Word
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and remains composed under pressure
  • Committed to working from the Antwerp office daily to ensure optimal team collaboration
