Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinate and manage ocean freight shipments from origin to destination
  • Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and other required paperwork
  • Communicate with carriers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient shipment delivery
  • Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to customers and resolving any issues that arise
  • Negotiate rates with carriers and service providers to secure the best possible pricing for our clients
  • Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and company policies
  • Assist with customs clearance processes and coordinate with customs brokers as needed
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all shipments

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in ocean freight forwarding or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, Incoterms, and customs procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
