Ocean Freight Business Development Specialist

• Attract new clients and develop relationships with customers via cold calling
• Sell Ocean services (mainly)
• Work with existing clients
• Recognize customer needs
• Conduct business negotiations
• Make preparation and submission of commercial offers
• Provide relevant expert knowledge across solutions and logistics industry
• Use CRM system to document client activity, create proposals, process orders, and forecast sales
• Achieve and exceed sales targets.

• Proven experience in sales within freight forwarding or logistics, with a strong focus on ocean freight services
• Experience in new business development, including cold calling and client acquisition
• Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
• Solid understanding of customer needs and solution-based selling
• Strong skills in business negotiations and closing deals
• Experience in preparing commercial offers and pricing solutions
• Experience working with CRM systems for managing pipeline and client activity
• Excellent knowledge of English
• Exceptional problem solving and communicative skills
• Proactivity and responsibility
