Job Description:

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Ocean Export Coordinator to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a collaborative and supportive environment, where you'll play a key role in managing international ocean freight operations from start to finish.

Job Responsibility:

Coordinate and manage ocean export shipments from booking through to final delivery
Prepare and process all necessary export documentation
Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and overseas agents
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and internal company policies
Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders
Resolve any issues or delays in transit, working closely with carriers and customers
Maintain accurate records within the transport management system (TMS)
Provide quotations and assist the sales team with rate requests and service options
Handle customer inquiries professionally and in a timely manner

Requirements:

Previous experience in ocean export operations or international logistics
Strong understanding of export documentation and shipping procedures
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously
Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office
