Job Description:

As the Manager of the OT department, you will utilise your leadership skills to ensure that our occupational therapists deliver high quality services that meet the needs of our patients. You will have the opportunity to support the professional development of clinicians and you will work collaboratively with a supportive team of allied health discipline managers to achieve the strategic goals of the broader Allied Health team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Planning and developing the Occupational Therapy services, with a view to future service delivery models and innovative models of care
  • Providing professional leadership to all Occupational Therapists at Austin Health
  • Supporting and developing the capability of the occupational therapy team

Requirements:

  • A qualification in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration
  • A well developed understanding of Occupational Therapy service provision in the public health context
  • The ability to communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • A passion for Occupational Therapy and multi-disciplinary team work
