Job Description:

As a full time or part time Occupational Therapist you will be providing high-quality assessments and interventions to our clients to support independent living. This encompasses ensuring effective and efficient assessment, planning, interventions and evaluation in a multi-disciplinary setting.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing high-quality assessments and interventions to clients to support independent living
  • Ensuring appropriate delivery of quality Occupational Therapy services tailored to the individual needs of the client using a person-centred approach
  • Conducting assessments and providing interventions to clients in their own home
  • Engaging with other Case Managers, Allied Health Professionals, GP’s and other Health Care Professionals to provide effective client care
  • Writing reports which meet the standards of funding bodies such as NDIS, DVA, Medicare and HCP Providers
  • Reflecting practice values of Care, Respect, Integrity and Service Excellence
  • Creating and maintaining effective relationships with Case Managers, GP’s, community centre’s and other referrers

Requirements:

  • Occupational Therapy degree, with General AHPRA registration
  • Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Ability to work autonomously in the community
  • An enjoyment of working with the older adult and adult disability demographics
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Clean driver licence, access to own vehicle and comprehensive car insurance
  • Willing to undergo a National Criminal History check upon successful application
