As an Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain independence and quality of life so they can safely perform daily activities.
Job Responsibility:
Assess diverse patients (orthopedic, neurological, sensory, cancer recovery, etc.)
Develop treatment plans
Conduct evaluations/re-evaluations
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Document thoroughly
Provide positive, motivating care to a high volume of patients
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served
Evaluates assigned patients within the guidelines established by the physician and in compliance with departmental policies and procedures
Implements competent treatment and performs regular reassessments for the purpose of treatment modification, to maximize patient's potential for functional independence, all in accordance of departmental standards
Completes all required documentation and maintains pertinent records of all assigned patients, in order to be in compliance with Joint Commission, CARF, Medicare, and all other regulatory requirements
Demonstrates the ability to be efficient and productive by organizing job duties and responsibilities
Maintains effective communication regarding Therapy programs and departmental issues
Requirements:
Bachelors Of Science Bachelor of Science, upon hire
Masters Other Master entry level degree in Occupational Therapy, upon hire
Either student or prior experience in a Rehab setting
Occupational Therapist: KY, upon hire
Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
