Job Description:

As an Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain independence and quality of life so they can safely perform daily activities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assess diverse patients (orthopedic, neurological, sensory, cancer recovery, etc.)
  • Develop treatment plans
  • Conduct evaluations/re-evaluations
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
  • Document thoroughly
  • Provide positive, motivating care to a high volume of patients
  • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served
  • Evaluates assigned patients within the guidelines established by the physician and in compliance with departmental policies and procedures
  • Implements competent treatment and performs regular reassessments for the purpose of treatment modification, to maximize patient's potential for functional independence, all in accordance of departmental standards
  • Completes all required documentation and maintains pertinent records of all assigned patients, in order to be in compliance with Joint Commission, CARF, Medicare, and all other regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrates the ability to be efficient and productive by organizing job duties and responsibilities
  • Maintains effective communication regarding Therapy programs and departmental issues

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Of Science Bachelor of Science, upon hire
  • Masters Other Master entry level degree in Occupational Therapy, upon hire
  • Either student or prior experience in a Rehab setting
  • Occupational Therapist: KY, upon hire
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
