Job Description:

As an Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain independence and quality of life so they can safely perform daily activities.

Job Responsibility:

Assess diverse patients (orthopedic, neurological, sensory, cancer recovery, etc.)
Develop treatment plans
Conduct evaluations/re-evaluations
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Document thoroughly
Provide positive, motivating care to a high volume of patients
Work with physicians, physical therapists, speech therapists, and others to evaluate new patients and recommend a plan of care
Provide treatments to patients focusing on increasing range of motion, strengthening, and maintaining balance during daily activities
Recommend adaptive equipment and customize it as needed
Perform re-evaluation assessments to update progress, status changes, etc.
Document all evaluations, treatments, and any changes to the treatment plan
Seek help when needed
provide support when others request it
Maintain a friendly and upbeat attitude to motivate our patients to do their best

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree or Doctorate program in Occupational Therapy approved by an accredited organization
Licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapist within the State of North Dakota (ND) or willing to obtain licensure to practice in ND
Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association
One (1) to three (3) years of experience required
