Job Description:

An exciting opportunity exists for an Occupational Therapist to join the Hand Therapy service at Western Health. The service is primarily trauma-based and works closely with the plastic and reconstructive surgical team.

Job Responsibility:

Assessment and treatment in the delivery of evidence based, person centred Occupational Therapy services in the area of hand therapy
Working as part of an innovative and energetic multidisciplinary team
Supervision of Grade 1 OT and/or Allied Health Assistant staff

Requirements:

Extensive knowledge and experience in hand therapy service provision
Demonstrate commitment to provision of occupation-based client centred occupational therapy practice
Strong collaboration skills
Demonstrate consolidated clinical leadership skills
Experience in quality improvement and research
