Job Description:

Provide essential in-home occupational therapy services under physician's orders. Your role involves evaluating home safety, assessing functional needs, and implementing tailored treatment to promote independence.

Job Responsibility:

Provide essential in-home occupational therapy services under physician's orders
Evaluate home safety
Assess functional needs
Implement tailored treatment to promote independence
Provide occupational therapy assessment, care planning, patient treatment and education
Work as a collaborative team member to develop a coordinated care plan
Complete all required documentation and billing requirements
Apply measurable quality metrics
Provide supervision to occupational therapy assistants and techs
Stay current with evidenced based practice guidelines and new research
Serve as a professional resource to other team members

Requirements:

Nebraska Occupational Therapist License
Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association upon hire
Strong assessment, treatment planning, and implementation skills for in-home care
Excellent communication for patient education
Commitment to promoting independence and safety
