Job Description

Montefiore is currently looking to recruit an experienced AHPRA Registered Occupational Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary team at our Randwick campus.

Job Responsibility

  • Work closely with highly skilled and committed multi-disciplinary teams including Physiotherapists, Social Workers, Speech Pathologists, Dietitians, Podiatrists and Therapy Assistants
  • Work to exceed the standards of Aged Care provision in Australia

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy with current and unrestricted registration as an Occupational Therapist with APHRA
  • Experience with pressure area care, cognitive/dementia screening tools (ACL desirable), seating and wheelchair prescription, functional assessments, falls prevention and equipment prescription
  • Efficient time management and priority setting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work well within a team
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work independently
  • Ability to work across sites as required
  • Current NSW drivers’ licence and own well maintained transport

Nice to have

Experience with complex behaviour support, splinting, group settings, pain management and palliative care
